Op het dak van het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum (LUMC) en het Elkerliek-ziekenhuis in Helmond zijn donderdag zogeheten pollenpalen geplaatst. Die meten in realtime het aantal pollen in de lucht én om welke soorten het gaat. Ze moeten op den duur het oude systeem vervangen.
