OK, I got it, :)

I have set up the account by importing my previously saved ID.

So what about the groups I had defined in the old Threema app?
Should I re-define them in Threema Libre now, or would it be wise to somehow (if yes, then: how?) transfer them from the old app to the new app?

I had just two groups, so my question is not about avoiding work, but just about the 'right' way how to do it. :)

Additional question: While Threema Libre was successful in importing my contacts (by accessing the Contacts of my phone) all of these now do NOT show any of the old messages that were previously exchanged using the old app.

I suppose, that's just normal and no way to import them?

Yes, thanks for the hint.
I did you already, since @FestplattenSchnitzel told me the way. :)

All is working fine, my contacts, my groups and the exchanged messages are in the new app now.

So may I safely de-install the old Threema app, and use Threema Libre exclusively from now on?

Or might there be a reason to keep both of them on my phone?
